Web Browsers

What web browser isn't free is the question? But I know a lot of people use Internet Explorer because it comes with Microsoft Windows and they don't realize other apps are out there that do a better job.  Open source web browsers are a great alternative as they are open source and anyone can create add-ons for them to do more then just display a website.

Opera

Opera is a free browser that you can download not only for your computer but also for your Phone and Tablet. Opera is gaining popularity and its community is growing rapidly.  Opera provides is fast, safe and secure web browsing for its users.

ieSpell

ieSpell is a free Internet Explorer browser extension that spell checks text input boxes on a webpage. It should come in particularly handy for users who do a lot of web-based text entry (e.g. web mails, forums, blogs, diaries). Even if your web application already includes spell checking functionality, you might still want to install this utility because it is definitely much faster than a server-side solution. Plus you get to store and use your personal word list across all your applications, instead of maintaining separate ones on each application.

Google Chrome

The newest web browser on the market and yes its made by Google and yes its free! Does Google charge any home users?  Google Chrome is very light weight and renders web pages incredible fast.  I haven't used it since its 1st release and need to give it another try. At the time it was using Adobe Flash for Firefox as its Flash plugin and it had a few issues. I'm sure they have fixed this since. Chrome is open source and its list of add-ons is growing every day. If you haven't given it a try then you definitely should as It will most likely speed up your web browsing.
