Yes I know its hard to process the thought of Microsoft offering a free program. But the fact is they actually offer a lot of free programs. They just don't tell anyone about them.  Microsoft Expression Encoder has a free and a paid version. This video editing program lets you compile video clips, add sound, titles and more. You can even record your screen to create how to videos.
